Map of Halkidiki and Paliouri

Paliouri is usually presented as 'green' (dense wooded hills and lush green forests) and 'blue' (beautiful blue sea and golden beaches) bringing about a raw, organic and beautiful character. Once you are in Paliouri you have the chance to take a promenade through the trail of the hilly woodland or through the narrow walkways of the old village. You instantly get a positive feeling associated to the senses of traditional warmth and town hospitality.

High up in the woodland and the village, the most incredible view towards Kelifos Island, Athona and the gulf of Toroneos can be seen. There is one main beach and several remote smaller beaches whereby Chrouso Beach is the most popular and is widely visible from the hillside.

The towns traditional look with taverns and modern tourist locations, EOT camping and the olive grovs of Kanistro very well characterize the village located at the tip of the Kassandra peninsula.
